Building

Our acorn flour. We tested it today and decided it needs a few more days of soaking.

Art class. Today, we tried to figure out how to construct houses made of sticks for our little pigs.

Some friends used sticks to lay out a floor plan.

Others tried to figure out how to build them up.

One friend asked for tape, and others joined in as a way to secure pieces together.

The pig did not have much room in some houses.

We were challenged to try and come up with a solution.

Outside, many friends were baking and mixing.

After snack, we had some time for music.

We consulted one of our "How To" books on building, and got some new ideas for houses.

We gathered up our books, and headed to the library.

Michelle read us a book about how dinosaurs eat their food. Then we checked out new books.

Outside, we tried to practice making sad faces. Some friends just refused.

Others were very good at it,

but only for a moment.

The building continued outside.
