Pajama Day

After we got our journals done,

it was time to mix the waffles. EVERYONE wanted to help.

Never has there been quite so many steps in waffle making - guaranteeing an excellent product.

While they were cooking, we practiced our high and low voices...

...and fed Princess Froggy and Popcorn.

Then Mike showed up with his guitar and sang us the Pajama Day song and taught us the Pajama Day Dance.

The waffles were still cooking, and we got the call to go to the Cardinal Room, because Debbie Green was going to read to us.

She read us three great books: The Love Book, The Napping House, and Mortimer. We especially loved the last two, because there were parts for us to help with.

We headed back for our waffles, strawberry and blueberry snack. It was delicious!
Ten, we had some time to play out in the Commons, while we set up our new Weather Station (more info to follow).

Next, it was time for Art with Sam.

Today, we worked with red clay. She showed us how to use a paper bowl to form our own clay bowls.

We had to use strong hands and fingers to get the clay to do what we wanted.

We paused to sing a song, then headed off on a walkabout.

We stopped in to see our friend Justin.

Then we went swirling through the big library.

In the lobby of the Upper School, we stopped on the center circle for a Moment of Silence, and to sing, Make New Friends.

We took a tour to check out the new art, and discovered many pieces that we liked.

We found our friend Nancy, and Hug-Attacked her.

When we got back, we had some time for Choice Time.

After lunch, we made good of our pajamas and had a good rest.
