Many Good Things

This morning, friends journaled and gathered together to build things out of magnets.

Before we knew it, Alicia was here to teach us some Spanish.

We sang our greeting song

and shook hands.

Then we flew to a Spanish speaking country.

Alicia read a book about colors, and then we went on a hunt for things "rojo."

Next, friends wanted to get out the instruments. We have two new guitars to play, so we figured out how to tune them and took turns playing.

At Morning Meeting, we had a Moment of Loudness and a Moment of Silence.

Then we read, The Very Busy Spider. Some friends were a little nervous about reading a spider book, so we came up with the strategies for what to do if they didn't want to hear it. Part way through, friends decided that they liked the book - especially the part when everyone made animal sounds.

Next, it was Choice Time. Today, we had many good options. There was brand new Peppermint-scented play dough,

three-dimensional puzzles,

new cars and roads to run them on,

the Easel and Books.
