Together Again

We were glad to be back together today, and friends got right into the grove, starting with their journals.

We read a new book about sharks and found out all kinds of strange facts.

We were amazed at how much the play structure had changes.

We went to report to Tricia that a couple of our friends were out.

Then we figured out some new questions and went to meet with Marty and Timmy. They told us about the ramp they were building, and some of the parts that will go on next. We cannot wait to play on it!

We got so excited that we just had to run for a few minutes.

Then we went in, gathered up our snack and headed downstairs.

We said hi to our friend, Barry, on the way down.

We found some new things to play with - like a hockey table...

...and a new kind of building blocks.

We practiced our new building skills...

...although there were some dinosaurs and Big Bad Wolves that sent things flying.

After snack, we opened up a grocery store. There were cash registers and food and grocery carts.

Then we headed up for Morning Meeting.

We sang some songs. One of them was a book that was a song, There Was an Old Woman Who Swallowed a Fly. It was very funny.

We had some time outside, since it had stopped raining.

Back inside, we played with some new playdough and the water beads, before it was time to get ready for lunch. There was a lot to talk about over lunch, and very little napping at nap time (Marty and Timmy had much hammering to do!). So, everyone got up early and we had a Dance Party! A great start to our week.
