The Catbirds started their day bright and early fishing for letters in the calming waters of the Catbird Ocean. Some friends fished letters that began the names of their friends, while others were just fishing for a good time!
One friend bought in a slimy plastic snake to show our friends. So we went into the Cardinals room to show Paula and Shannon, but we ended up scaring them!
Friends continued to go fishing, while others cooked up some delicious foods in the kitchen. The Catbirds are professional Chefs in the kitchen. Friends were making delicious coffee, waffles, oatmeal, but NO peanut butter and jelly.
Carol got out her guitar and played beautiful music with the Catbird band!
To finish up our morning, friends headed outside to spend time in our Outdoor Classroom. Friends worked very hard on building bridges that they could carefully walk, climb and jump from. Other friends made a plan to chase Carol and capture her, so she would be trapped on the stage! Once Carol was released, the Catbirds headed inside to enjoy their delicious lunches!
What a day!
