Friendishness

The lamination train was a-comin' through!

The Catbirds made quite a lot of music this morning

And some friends figured out how to re-route the cold steam from our defuser.

We played outside in the sun

Back inside, we gathered for Morning Meeting.

We got to see how our new ice ball maker worked, and we found out how we were going to make the Catbird drawings for our Fall Festival t-shirts using the ipad.

We also talked about our friend Max, and how we are missing him. Some friends decided they would make pictures for him today. In fact, there were many acts of "Friendishness" in our room today. When one of the Catbirds fell and bumped his lip, 5 friends came over to sing him "Peace Like a River," to make him feel better. As the Catbirds become better friends, they are exploring the many ways that they can make one another feel encouraged, happy and connected.

For Choice Time, we drew on paper

And on the iPad!

We played with balls of ice, salt and string.

And built with Magnatiles
