Adding Levels of Complexity

Building was a popular activity early this morning, and the architecture continues to grow more grand and complex. Friends are also building in groups, which adds a new level of complexity to the process.

The Catbirds completed not one, but two, 100 piece puzzles!

An architectural team!

Adding a dragon the Dragon Land.

We had Music class outside!

Listening for the bell.

A book about the patterns that birds make.

We made our own patterns.

Friends created a "canvas."

Planting invisible seeds.

After snack, we headed outside.

We were excited to watch the continued preparation of the pond.

At Morning Meeting, Puppet Pierre came to ask our advice on how to tell a story. The Catbirds had lots to teach him!
Choice Time:

The second puzzle of the day.

The ongoing Bey Blade competition - a study in learning how to win and lose well.

There were two tortellini's at lunch, which meant two short videos before storytime (ask your Catbird how this works, if you don't already know). Todays pick - 2 versions of Let It Go! (with Catbird accompaniment.
