The Catbird Photo Project and New Friends!

New game.

Hats were very popular this morning.

Before we headed off to the Upper School, we had a meeting and talked about our photography project and our cameras.

Then we were off!

At the photography class. The big kids were pretty big, so we asked them to sit on the floor so we could meet and get to know one another.

We met and paired up with buddies.

Then we got to tak pictures of them. They showed us how to use our cameras.

Then they walked back to our class. We went out in the garden to take a picture with our new friends.

Then they took pictures of us.

They told us about their cameras.

We also got to see the pictures they had taken.

We didnt want them to leave, but we will see them again!

We had some more time outside, and the Snack Shoppe opened (we get to eat outside and learn a little math.)

Back inside, we played a bit more, then cleaned up for morning meeting.

A friend brought in some seeds that she found in her yard. She shared them and answered questions about them.

Vicki had a new project for choice time.

We got to match leaves to fall colors.

We also worked on our rainbow crayons! We found a special squirrel nutcracker that made it easier (and more fun) to break the crayons into small pieces.

Today's Lunch Convener.
