Today some Catbirds were in the mood of making music, they started to explore the guitars and some other strings instruments.
During Morning Meeting all Friends sent love to Caroline so she can feel better soon, then listened to a version of the Old Mac Donald's book/song. The whole classroom sang the song very enthusiastically.
It was fun to make the animal sounds especially the ones that are not typically part of the farm like frogs.
Today in outdoor play some Friends were making delicious recipes out of pine cones, grass, dirt and other "organic" ingredients.
Above Catbirds firefighters bravely extinguishing fire. Down below Catbirds working hard fixing the "boat" while some other Friends take a short nap.
During choice time Catbirds had the chance to choose between trains, sand box, flubber and musical instruments.
The band played smoothly for a while switching instruments and members from time to time.
Before lunch Catbirds practiced some letters of the ABC's.
It is awesome to see how Friends remember the sounds of the letters, eventually they will make the connection letter and sound by themselves.
