Our friend Justin came by this morning to help us write our Helping People theme song.
Then we had snack to give us energy for our outing.
We talked about visiting Step Up Academy, and how the kids there are learning how to make friends. We role played what we could do if we saw someone who was alone and didn't have anyone to play with. The Catbirds were ready to help!
We were off!
We travelled swiftly, using a series of strategic runs.
We arrived at the gate.
At first, we played mostly with people we knew.
Gradually, we started to play with new friends.
We found some leaves as big as our heads!
We headed back.
We stopped to see the new stage set.
We had a story and a short choice time.
Vicki had a new math activity for us.
Then it was library time!
We got great new books.
We came back and practiced our letters.
