Field Day Fun!

Early this morning, our friend Angie from the Upper School delivered a Field Day shirt for Bear Witness. Changing the Bear's clothes is not easy, because of their GINORMOUS head, but Catbirds were up for the task.

A Catbird mom stepped in to get the last arm in!

We headed off for Meeting for Worship in the music room with the other EC classes and the kindergarten.

The Catbirds helped read "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, " while snack was readied.

We had some time outside.

Then we were off to Art class.

Amanda showed us some ways to make different shapes with clay.

Then we mooshed and squished and rolled and pounded to our heart's content.

As soon as we were finished, we headed out for Field Day with our 4rth grade buddies.

Bear Witness joined us, and remembered to bring out our water bottles!

We had a blast with all of our friends.

Friends paused to get a drink and hug the bear.

Back in the room, we reloaded our rock tumbler for the final phase of polishing!

After lunch, Bear Witness went out to cheer on the rest of the school.
