Tuesday's Trampoline

Monday afternoon table time.

Today marked the first day that the Catbird's orchestrated a game that they all played together. They constructed a train and a jet plane and headed for the beach. Being able to work out the details of this adventure took time, patience and negotiation skills that were quite impressive for the second week of school. Our Senior Catbirds led the way and made sure everyone who needed a seat had one. Impressive developments that can only hint at what we may accomplish as the year goes on.

Today's story, "Click Clack Moo."

Playground problem solving.

Today we finished putting together our trampoline and we had a meeting to decide how to use it so that we could have fun and be safe. The Catbirds came up with a great list of rules. Apart from it's obvious fun factor, the trampoline is great for developing large muscle strength and coordination and, having some time to jump around helps friends to sit and focus after. It's a win, win, win!

Then the jumping commenced!
