Singing and Sharing

We had an assembly this morning. We got to sing some songs to warm up and wake up.

Then Andrea cast a spell on us all.

Alicia taught us a song in Spanish about autumn.

We listen to a story called,  "Fletcher and the Falling Leaves."

Keisha and Raji played and we sang together again. Such a wonderful way to start the day.

We went out our secret exit and stopped in the kitchen, because it smelled so good. Our friends, Nancy and Chris gave us some cookies for snack! Then we raced.

Senior Catbirds continue to teach the younger Catbirds how to create buildings and shapes.

We read a tiny alphabet book, by request. Friends had to look closely to figure out what the words said.

Next, we read, "Should I Share My Ice Cream."

Then we rated our book.

Snack time!

We wrote a thank you note to Nancy and Chris for the cookies, and all the friends signed it.

Another of our daily jam sessions.

Lots of fun outside.

We are making name tags to wear, so that everyone (like our new librarian), can learn our names. Friends enjoyed writing and decorating them.

Lunch time.

After lunch, we went to join the kindergarteners in Raji's room.

Raji and Rich Nourie played and sang, and we sang along.

Sharing books with friends.

Such a singing, sharing kind of day.
