Monday Monday

Part of our morning was spent explaining to some of the new Catbirds about weekends, as there was confusion about our two day separation. I'm not certain anything was clarified...

Turns out that several Catbirds were born on the same day! So Friday, we celebrated one birthday.

We spent some time on our morning routine.

Dragon feeding continues to be popular.

The Catbirds are regularly asking whether or not our dragon can eat different foods. We always look it up online, and then we try and predict whether she is going to like a new food. Today, she tried strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. She loved all of them! In fact, we haven't found anything she doesn't like.

Today we had another birthday celebrations.

Christina taught us some new songs and dances.

Then, we headed outside.

Our time outdoors today was spent on finding new ways to play together. For the new Catbirds, these are often games and interactions structured by one of the teachers.

For the Senior Catbirds, this means taking group negotiations to a new level. These friends often come over to consult, when they get stuck.

Building together is a great way to begin the process of interacting.

Snake twirling.

After lunch, we had some book time.

WE rested and listened to a story, then had table activities.

Gluing and creating patterns and collage.
