Does Popcorn Need A Friend?

Sign in is falling easily into a routine for the Catbirds.

We headed off to Art Class erly this morning.

Amanda demonstrated the paint and paintbrushes for us.

Then we were off.

Back in Catbird Land, the youngest friends cooked and ate together.

Dinosaur battles raged in the block area.

It was a lovely morning to be outside.

A number of Catbirds are using the monkey bars and encouraging their friends as they attempt to cross.

A very serious painting crew.

We interviewed the Catbirds about Popcorn today. Here are the results. (Popcorn is our guinea pig).
Does Popcorn need a friend?

Liam: No. because they just have a bearded dragon. (are they friends?) No. (Should she have another guinea pig to live with?) Yes.

CJ: Yes.Because she’s lonely

Noah: Yes. Because she’s lonely. Because she has no one to snuggle with and play with.

Madhava: Yes. Because she’s lonely. Because Princess Froggy was her best friend and she died. And she was very happy with Princess Froggy by her side to snuggle with.

Will: Yes. Cause she’s all alone. It means there is no one to snuggle with and she’s always cold.

Zachary: Yeah.

Stevie: Yeah. Because she is lonely and a friend will make her not lonely.

Kennedy: Yes. Because she is a guinea pig

Setth: Yeah. Maybe after we come inside.

Sidra: Yes. Because she’s lonely. Because she had Princess Froggy, but she died.

Scarlett: Yes. because her all by her own. She’s sad.

Karl: Yes. (Why). I don’t know, she just needs a friend.

Next, we started to work on another project. This involved measuring and cutting copper pipe. (This project requires family photos....hint, hint)

The measuring tapes were very popular.

Using the pipe cutter took some hand strength.

Raspberry hands.

Loving our books.
