Same Game, Slightly Different Rules

We began the day with a little guitar tuning.

Soon, it was time for Spanish class.

We worked on learning words for body parts.

Then, it was building and driving time.

Garages were built.

Another dance party.

We are developing some serious dance moves.

Amy dancing with a Catbird skirt.

Clearing the bulletin board.

Mysterious tracks in the snow.

Another strange impression. We tried to figure out how it was made.

Dragons claws.

Friends taking off in a submarine of their own construction.

Ice with water (and bubbles) underneath!

Building a house and car. Making dinner.

Building a house and vehicle. Making dinner for Ninja Turtles. Same game, with some moments of spontaneous wrestling. It was interesting to see the boys and girls divide up, and then end up playing virtually the same thing.

A robot.

Friends working on the Cha Cha Challenge: Wacky Word Wonder. The Catbirds are generating a list of words - many old standbys and a few that are new to our vocabulary (like Zzop).

Moon sand was a very popular choice.

And, we had a wonderful gift from Raji - A Giant Dragon Puzzle!

The moon sand also required us to fire up our classroom vacuum cleaner. Someone was very happy about this.

He had a cheering section.

We read a classic, The Sneetches, at naptime. Friends tried hard to figure out way the Sneetches behaved the way they did.
