New royalty has moved into the castle.

Time outside, with the sun shining!
Finally, it's warm enough to hold onto the monkey bars.
Morning Meeting - the challenge of forming an oval without the oval rug.
We settled into a moment of silence, and then it was time to introduce our first ever
CHA CHA CHALLENGE!!!
Cha Cha Challenges will be introduced each week, a will include a whole variety of different kinds of challenges - including fine and gross motor skills, problem solving, math, literacy and more.
This week's challenges is The Pom Pom Plop. Friends use the timer and some special chopsticks to pick up pom poms of varying sizes and place them in a bucket. Over the course of the week, we will vary this task to make it increasingly challenging and interesting. Friends will race one another and we will add sorting by both color and size!
Other Choices included:
easel painting,
building with gears,
painting our salt dough dog biscuits,
and games with Heidi,
And, because someone brought tortellini for lunch, we listened to the Tortellini Song!
