Our morning began with much laughter and excitement, as friends reunited and explored some new elements in the room.
The castle - complete with dragon - was a huge draw all day long.
Our new Catbirds was eager to join the fun.
The puppies returned, and were well cared for, as were the babies.
In the Science Center, magnets and magnifiers were explored.
We had snack, and then...
Aedin came in for music class. We warmed up first.
Then learned some new songs - one about the weather that seemed quite appropriate for today.
Aedin read us a book about clouds, accompanied by music. Then, we danced and pretended to be clouds.
We headed outside for a bit - long enough for many friends to discover the Giant Puddles out there. After many of us got pretty wet, we headed inside to dry off and gather for Morning Meeting. We had our Moment of Silence, and sang some favorite songs.
Then, each Catbird took a turn getting up and finding something new in the room. We guessed what each object might be called. Here is our list:
