Some photos from Thursday afternoon. After rest time, the Catbirds have some choices of table activities (while some friends are sleeping). This exercise helps friends enhance fine motor strength and coordination.
Here, we worked on identifying action words from Catbird photos, and writing them out.

Catbirds enjoy writing and drawing on the white boards, as they allow more experimentation.
After snack, we headed outside into a beautiful day.
The Catbirds had lots of energy.
They were so glad to be back together after the long weekend.
Back inside, we had Morning Meeting. After a moment of silence, we read some Halloween poetry (friends have a growing interest in poetry). Then it was Choice Time.
