Back in our room for snack and our morning "Dog and Cat, Scorpion Chat," (our meeting to plan our day and week.
Then it was time for a music class with the Cardinals!
First we got to play instruments together.
Then we sang Jamba - our greeting song.
Keisha read us a rhyming book about pumpkins.
Then we learned the Pumpkin Dance.
We sang a favorite, "Peace Like a River."
We headed outside on this gorgeous day.
Friends were fascinated by the corn, and used it for peeling, collecting and cooking.
The husks were also part of imaginative play.
