Tremendous Tuesday!

Our morning adventure of presenting our song and anti-litter film at the Upper School assembly went wonderfully! The whole event moved very fast, and in all the excitement, we did not get any pictures of our performance. The Catbirds did an amazing job of singing their message to the Upper School audience, who received the anti-litter song and movie with cheers and applause. Thank you for helping get your Catbird to school extra early on such short notice, and for all who helped us move the group to the auditorium and back! In all the excitement, we did not get any pictures...but everyone was very impressed by the children's take action initiative, and hopefully our reminder to pick up trash will help the big kids remember to keep our environment and campus clean!

After the excitement of the Upper School Assembly, we returned to the room to relax into a little open choice time.

Soon it was time to venture outside to stretch our legs and get some fresh air.

Back inside we reviewed our Book of the Week, and opened up some choices for Choice Time.

Including some "float art" using dry erase markers and watching them float off of plates when water is poured overtop!

And working on illustrating our Catbirdland Stories we wrote last week.
