Our morning began with thoughtful table puzzling, experimental shape building with magna tiles, relaxing with books, and a short garden exploration!
Soon the friends turned to more and more group play with a very busy kitchen area, snack time, and Catbird band practice on the front rug!
Moving outside, we ventured down to the dragon's nest area outside of the cafeteria where we began work on a special film project which will highlight our recent stewardship campaign we have started to try and remind the entire school to help pick up their trash after they eat lunch to keep our environment and our campus beautiful!
After ensuring we got the right shots to put together into our final product, we spent some time playing in the grassy area, talking with older friends, cleaning up any trash we found, and putting up signs to remind anyone using the tables to throw out their trash!
After a long time helping clean up our campus, we returned to our own playground and decided to enjoy the sunny weather and have lunch outside!
The Catbirds are very excited about all the work they did on their movie and to help clean up some of the trash left behind, and we will hopefully be able to unveil their final movie project very soon!
