Today we went over to meeting for worship with our second grade friends.
It was a good way to get friends accustomed to going to the meetinghouse.
There was lots of music back in Catbirdland.
Today was our first animal committee meeting, and the first meeting of the Butterfly Committee.
Each committee has one expert (the report writer), and several volunteers to discuss whether or not this animal should be a part of our country. Each Catbird voted, and then gave the reasons for their vote. This part of the discussion ended when we reached consensus. Next, we discussed what the butterflies would need - we decided to plant flowers and fruit trees - and picked a good location on our map for them to live.
Each animal will have its own committee as we draw out who will live where in Catbird Country.
