Today, we made 2 batches of playdough!
The instructions are written on cards, which gives friends a chance to read words and pictures, as well as to count and measure.
First we made yellow.
Then took a story break will it cooked.
Friends needed the warm playdough until it was just the right consistency.
Next, we made a batch of orange.
We also did some engineering with gears...
...and cups.
Today was the last day for the old "Big Kids" playground (which we also use). We went to check out the pictures of the new playground in the lobby. We tried to imagine the places that we will want to play, by carefully studying the photos and drawings.
When we came back, Dave wrote down our words as we talked about what we liked to do on the old playground and what we are looking forward to about the new playground,
After we cleaned up, we headed over to the gym with the Owls and the Cardinals.
Then it was back for lunch and some quality box time!
