Disco Dance Party!

Our morning began with Music class. We are learning how to keep the beat. The beat can be fast, slow or sometimes in the middle but it never stops while the music is playing.

We can move the beat around! Xavi had a great idea to keep the beat on his ankles!

Then we sang and moved to our favorite squirrel song.

Aedín read us The Snowy Day, which we loved.

We re-told all of the things that happened in the bok.

Next, Aedin put on some music, and we acted out the story with our bodies.

We got to dance with snowy colored scarves.

Back in our room, there was all kinds of things going on.

We cleaned up, had snack and headed over to the Owls room.

They had a surprise - a new music speaker with disco lights!

We had a dance party.

We also did some math with the magnatiles - figuring out how to divide them equally between the rooms.

Next, we headed outside.

We had to scrape up the snow to get any decent snowballs. Thanks for sending good snow clothes in with your Catbird. Hopefully, we will need them next week!
