Carol puts on fake teeth and freaks out the Catbirds.
Morning business.
Making patterns.
Telling a story to friends.
Lots of dramatic play.
Fixing the easel.
Morning meeting. We read a new book, A Straight Line Wonder, about a line that goes it's own way.
Some friends liked it, and some friends did not.
Then, we had a lesson in drawing ourselves. We looked carefully at our friends and figured out the shapes of different parts of our bodies and where they would go. We studied the length of our arms, legs and necks, and the positions of our eyes, ears, noses and mouths. The Catbirds coached Carol through her drawing.
Then, it was Choice Time.
We worked on our self portraits.
We had some fancy visitors.
We worked on puzzles.
And read books. It was a fine day to be back together.
