Snow!

The Catbirds came in with great energy and enthusiasm today, and started building all kinds of structures.

Friends worked together beautifully.

There was a return of puppies, kitties and babies.

Soon, it was time to bundle up and head out into the snow!

We made snowballs and threw them.

Found piles and jumped in them.

We worked together to build a snow dragon.

And skied down the ramp.

There was some snow tasting.

We explored the ice in the pond and in the puddles.

We loved the snow, and are hoping that we get some more. When we got back inside, friends looked up igloos in our building books and we started to make plans for future buildings.

We got very wet, so many friends changed clothes. Then it was already lunchtime! We settled down to read some favorite books, then continued our Magic Treehouse chapter book (our heroes have been captured by pirates!).
