Giving Thanks

Off to the Meetinghouse and under the tarp to brave the rain!

It was a laughing train!

After Meeting for Worship, we headed to music class

In celebration of the rain, we played with rain sticks and listened to the sound...

We asked the Catbirds what they were thankful for. These are their responses (one or two friends wanted to think about it some more, so not every Catbird is represented). See if you can guess which is your Catbird's response, then ask them:

"I am thankful for my mommy. I am thankful for vacuums - pretend vacuums and real vacuums."

"I am thankful for sitting down with my family, and my house and my mommy and my daddy and my sister and my brother. I am thankful for driving to the beach, and Disney World and the water park."

"I am thankful for the birdies."

"Thanksgiving! The presents."

"I am thankful for to kill zombies and take them to jail. I am thankful to go to sleep and call mommy and daddy into my room and say, 'What's that sound?'"

"I am thankful for going to the beach with my friends. My mom told me to go to sleep and I go to sleep and I am thankful for when I go to bed, and sometimes I wake my mommy and daddy up."

"I am thankful for when we can make the kid soup!"

"I am thankful for about the dinosaur, and about the boys, one boy, the one with the yellow shirt."

"I am thankful for my mommy."

"I am thankful for having dinner. Pumpkin pie."

"I am thankful for snowy days. I hope I get a puppy - a biscotti puppy!"

We are thankful for the privilege of spending our days with your amazing children!

Have a wonderful holiday!
