Some morning activities after our jobs.
We had snack and then headed to music class.
We love having a chance to play the instruments.
We sang Jambo and then sang the Cobbler Song, which was new for our young friends.
We practiced, "This is my Place and This is my Space."
Then we headed outside on this gorgeous day.
At Morning Meeting, our student teacher, Vicki, presented a beading activity.
We also opened the trampoline for some gross motor work. Lots of blurry, bouncing children.
We introduced Catbird Jobs this week, and lunch convener is a particularly coveted and complicated task. The convener prepares all the Catbirds for lunch by leading them through some breathing and quiet, accompanied by a musical tone. It is wonderful watching Senior Catbirds model the task and Junior Catbirds take it on for the first time.
