After some time for building and making things, the Catbirds cleaned up for Morning Meeting. Carol told friends some sad news - that Sparkles the Zombie Princess, ABC, had died unexpectedly. Friends had many questions and ideas about what might have happened. We assured them that Sparkles had had plenty of food and water. We don't know how old she was, so we decided to check with Rosanne, who gave her to us, to find out. We will be open for more discussion as friends need it.
After a weather check in the garden, we decided that it was barely raining and that we needed to go outside.
It started raining harder, but no one was ready to go in. So, we played in the rain and got very wet. It was pretty fun.
There were puddles and places to hide from the rain.
And there were places to get EXTRA WET!
There were even puddles to jump over.
We came in and read our Book of the Week, "The Day the Crayons Quit." It was highly rated.
We had a chance to check out the first test paper that we made with our recycled paper towels, as we get ready to make more. Then it was Choice Time.
