Today was all about welcoming people, new things, and animals into our day! We began by welcoming our friends from Step Up Academy to our playground for our weekly playdate with them. We brought out Magna Tiles and animals, did some coloring, and enjoyed the spring sunshine running around our beautiful outside space.
Then we went to Library, where we heard a few "tricky book" stories that had very silly, very tricky plot twists which we enjoyed very much!
And we welcomed new Library books into our room!

We welcomed Paddywhack, our newest classroom animal friend into our Morning Meeting circle for his first time being held by all the Catbird friends! The Catbirds were incredibly gentle and quiet, making Paddywhack feel very calm as he was moved from lap to lap to receive soft pets from Catbirds.
A very exciting, very busy morning for all!
