We had a lovely morning, as friends gathered, did their jobs and explored together.
We cleaned up early to get ready for a visit from our fourth grade partners, and read a new book about Frida Kahlo. It was in both English and Spanish and many friends were able to translate the words.
When our partners arrived...
...partners chose a book together and went off to read together.
After, we had some time to play together.
Then we headed outside for a short play in the chilly morning.
Then we headed to art class.
Amanda showed us how to make a coil pot.
Then we made our own,
Back in the room, we danced and sang along to, "The Ants Go Marching."
Then it was Choice Time. The writing Center was open to compose letters to partners and friends.
Then it was time to unpack for lunch.
