Assembly and Power Tools

The morning routine.

We had assembly, which involved much singing.

We watched a book about making friends with people who are different than us.

Then we sang some more songs as we are thinking about Martin Luther King and his legacy.

To finish, Keisha taught us a song about MLK.

We prepared our giant box for drilling, so we can install lights.

After snack, we headed outside.

Maria read, "Potato Pants" (a current classroom favorite) and then we had choice time.

We did  our alphabet sounds and then had lunch.

Then we started to drill our box. After we get 60 holes in it, we are going to put a strand of lights in it.
