A Very Wonderful Tea Party

Today was our Going Away British Tea Party for our Catbird who is heading off to England. While we were performing at assembly, some elves came and set up the tables so beautifully.

The Catbirds were so excited! We had been preparing all week, learning to hold a teacup, discovering things about British tea food and practicing our best manners.

They were so excited by the fanciness of the table. They had some time to play, while the grown ups got the food together.

During prep time, Justin showed up with his middle schoolers and sang us some Math Carols.

The Catbirds returned the favor by singing theme the Bear Witness Song.

Then it was time to eat! Our guest of honor took his seat.

It was a truly lovely morning!
