Moving into our morning
The group construction of a Giant Hotel.
Snacktime.
Outside, there was a delivery of new sand.
Friends tried to lift the bags. They were so heavy.
Then it was all in!
Some older friends and siblings were out with us, which made things extra fun.
Time for Art.
Amanda taught us about textures.
She was very excited about the gold and silver crayons.
She showed us how to use them to make texture on paper.
It was all very fascinating.
Then we made our own.
Back in Catbirdland, we had Morning Meeting.
The puppets came to us with another problem to solve.
The Catbirds had many friend-ish ideas to help them work it out.
Then Ao showed us some gifts she brought for all of us. She got us a book and an elephant that is in the story.
She also brought us some fruits and vegetables for our Dramatic Play area, and some tools!
The Catbirds were excited to use both.
Then we made smoothies with Ao.
We also built another hotel.
We tested out the smoothies. One was avocado and one was pineapple. Both had their fans, although the pineapple had LOTS of fans.
