There was a lot of happy energy in the Catbird room today. Friends were glad to see one another and get back to the business of play.
We had a boisterous Spanish class, as Alicia began to teach us parts of the body in español.
We sang, "Cabeza, Hombros, Rodillas y Dos Pies" (Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes)
Puzzles were a popular activity, as was building and dramatic play.
After snack, we headed outside to play.
The pond was full and running, so many friends were using water in their play.
At Morning Meeting, we shared something that had happened to us since we were last together.
For Choice Time we had pizza making...
...stencils...
...and lots of dramatic play.
Friends often stopped to read, alone or together.
The pizzas were individualized in a variety of shapes and with different toppings.
They were delicious!
