A Day in the Multi-Purpose Room

The day began as it always does, with signing in and lots of happiness

The Catbirds love borrowing our camera to photograph each other so much, that we borrowed an extra school camera to dedicate to their use.

Some friends enjoy posing while others like to be behind the lens, which leads to some excellent interactive play

And silliness!

Today we had Library, where Doris read us books about astronauts!

The Catbirds were totally immersed, and they had many questions and ideas of their own about outer space.

After Library, we told Tricia in the office that we were off to...

...the basement!

On rainy days, the Multi-Purpose basement is a great space for the children release their energy (in other words, run and scream a lot!)

Suddenly, Carol turned into a monster!

Naturally, hilarity ensued. Friends ran at high speeds and desperately hid from Carol.

Before returning to our classroom, we turned off all of the lights and ran around in the dark, dark, dark!

Much happiness was had during Morning Meeting and Choice Time
