Some Highlights from the End of Our Week

Experimenting with magnets.

Spanish class. Learning to count.

"Olivia and the Missing Toy:" a slightly scary story for Friday the 13th.

We were given a gift of rose petals, and friends loved playing with them.

Lots of structures under construction, destruction and repair.

The joy of being outside on a beautiful fall day.

A visit from our friend, Justin, who helped us write a song about being a friend.

Friends continue to work on their personal boxes - to be covered with a family photo and other cool stuff.

We brought thousands of acorns into the room, for measuring, scooping and pouring.

Trucks in rice - what more needs to be said?

Stencils have been out quite a bit, as friends mater the fine art of tracing shapes.

Crate climbing has become another favorite activity.

Guinea pig feeder for the week.

Music class.

Prepping to make applesauce.

Our first Book of the Week, "My Best, Best Friend." This introduces our study of friendship.

Rating the book, using our graph.

Creating the border for our Friendship Wall.

Chopping up apples with our kid-friendly knives.

We released Ted, our temporary pet beetle.
