Inside Outside Day

Some moments From Tuesday afternoon.

Our end-of-day planning meeting.

Morning table activities.

Off to have meeting for worship with our third grade partners.

Shana read us a story about Mid-Autumn Day, a holiday today in China (the 3rd graders are studying China). They told us about mooncakes. After, we focused on our breathing and then we had some shared silence.

Then we went outside together. It's wonderful watching the Catbirds form relationships with these older friends.

A new fort appeared today.

A well as a striking art installation that was built by a dedicated team.

More teamwork back inside.

Storytime: "The Bumpy Little Pumpkin."

We had an Inside-Outside Choice Time.

We started our box project by getting them painted.

We used our new colored rice with some tiny trucks.

Out in the garden, we had drums...

...digging...

...and all manner of dramatic play and concoction making.
