Sound on a String

Our advanced medical team continued their work today. In fact, we had to rearrange the room in order to give them enough space to expand the hospital.

After our Morning Meeting moment of silence,we read a bout written by
Wynton Marsalis that was all about sounds.

The Catbirds were very adept at imitating all kinds of sounds.

Next, Carol unveiled something called a "teletone," and friends made hypotheses about what it might do.

Then, we stretched the string across the room, and friends tried whispering to each other. It worked!

Then, Ao showed us a new way to paint flowers, using celery and carrots!

Choice Time

We went old school on our telephone experiment, and put together cups and strings.

They worked, too!

After clean up, we had a dance party, and then headed outside.
