Meeting for Worship
In Meeting for Worship with the other EC classes. I guided the group in a visual meditation. We began by taking deep breaths followed by quiet breaths. We continued by asking friends to create pictures in their heads without words. We pictured holding a heart shaped balloon in our favorite color. We then imagine blowing our balloons up, taking deep breaths. After that, we thought of a person we wanted to give our balloons too. We finished up by sending our balloons along with some love to our person. Everyone was quiet as they listened to the meditation. Friends did a fantastic job of creating their thoughts without words. The Hummingbirds class sang Three little Birds by Bob Marley this week to the Catbirds and Cardinals classes. We all sang This Little Light of Mine together.

We continued our work with shapes and scissors
We are learning our letters and their sounds, so today I challenged the Catbirds to a Wordwall Quiz.
Friends raise their hands if they know the answer or want to try. If they are not sure, they can, "Phone a Friend," and ask another Catbird to tell them what they think the answer is (This allows all of the Catbirds to participate).
