We got to see a hot air balloon inflate and fly a tiny ways off the ground this morning. A friend of Raji's hand tie-dyed the fabric panels and then assembled them. It was magical watching it come to life!
We had a birthday!

Today's story was a quiz story. I instructed the Catbirds to listen carefully....
...and then forget everything they heard. I even demonstrated how they could tip their heads and knock all the information out of their ears.
After a brief Choice Time, we had the book quiz. Despite my best efforts, they got every single answer right!
