In the morning, friends read books...
built with magnatiles...
...and played in the rice table
Great, giant castles were constructed!
As well as long, long roads
We headed to Art Class, where we got to play with...
CLAY!
The Catbirds used their hands and many tools to explore with the clay, molding it and poking it and chopping it up.
The following quotes are the Catbirds' descriptions of the clay, when asked how it felt.
"Squishy!"
"It feels like rock, it's a little bit hard"
"hard clouds"
"It feels like playdough to me"
"like chicken!"
Then, we headed outside into the warm weather
Soon, it began to drizzle! When asked if they wanted to go inside, the Catbirds responded with a resounding, "No, we love the rain! We want to stay in the rain forever!"
