We headed over to the middle school art room today to make paper mache hearts. Pete introduced us to the goopy substance and we got to stir it up.
Then we began applying it to our heart-ish shaped balloons. Friends had mixed feeling about the goopiness - from all-in to barely touching it.
Once they dry, we will add some details and perhaps a few more parts and then some paint.
We had another quiz, this one about rhyming words. Our younger friends tapped into the expertise of some older Catbirds, as they are just beginning to hear the sounds that rhyme.
We continue to learn the names of all the bones, and we started labelling them on the Smartboard.
