This week, the Catbirds started to learn more about each other and found new ways to interact and play together. They started to realize they have shared interests and began to share ideas and skills. Playdough was a popular activity at Choice Time.
Many of the Catbirds challenged themselves and encouraged one another to try the monkey bars.
We had our first music class! Keisha came to our room and taught us the beginning and ending songs, and several for inbetween.
An activity that is growing in popularity is playing doctor, and involves most of the class. Friends first build the hospital and then begin to treat both humans and a wide variety of animals and lovies. It is a crowded and busy location, and it is impressive how well this crowd can cooperate.

Drawing is another favorite activity and our art wall is already full of beautiful pieces.

We worked on our tree cookies.
These get used for all kinds of things, but very often help us take turns.
We had our first trip to the library. Michelle read us a story, and then we checked out books for the classroom.

We headed to the balancing wall and the Catbirds worked on walking around. We spent some time learning to fly.
We stoppped for a roll down the hill before heading back.
