Today new friends were starting to become familiar with the routines of our day, and returning Catbirds were re-establishing theirs and helping out with younger friends. We introduced signing in to new friends and got a sense of where everyone is with letters and writing. We also had our first Choice Time today, where we introduced centers and ask friends to choose what they wanted to do. Our Senior and Super Senior Catbirds were able to read and recognize all of the Choice Cards. The Catbirds also got to take a quiz on the Smartboard, using the touch screen to answer multiple choice questions about who does what (like "Who flies airplanes?" and "Who helps you take care of your teeth?"). They all did wonderfully with this task. This is a fast-learning crew!
