Meeting for Worship

Some of our afternoon table time from yesterday.

Early morning jam session.

Then we headed to Meeting For Worship in the Music room with the Cardinals and the Kindergarten. The new Catbirds are learning to still their bodies and focus on their breathing through stories and through talking about and thinking about how their bodies work.

Back in the room, we worked on many projects.

And had snack

Then we headed to the library for some funny stories with Michelle.

We found books to check out and bring into the classroom.

We headed outside to run very fast

and to read our new books.

A Groggy Picture Day

Friends have gotten quite good at our morning routine.

Our name cards continue to expand. as the Catbirds sign in as a variety of characters - many of them superheroes!

We continue to work on our projects.

And friends have developed some of their own play routines, as they explore their imaginations and ever more complex ways of interacting.

We tried to stay relatively clean, so that friends could have their pictures taken (a few Catbirds decided the whole process was overwhelming and did not have their pictures taken. We will try again in October when it is make up day).

After our class picture, we got to spend some time outdoors.

The Junior Catbirds are learning to teamwork.

Lots of friends were a little tired from their weekends.

It didn't stop them from making delicious birthday cakes.

After Morning Meeting, we had Choice Time.

Some new sensory motor materials.

And Dinosaur washing, of course!

Popcorn came out for a bit, to say hello.
